Microchip Technology EV63E25A Evaluation Board

Microchip Technology EV63E25A Evaluation Board is a development platform based on the PD77708 Power over Ethernet (PoE) manager, designed to demonstrate IEEE® 802.3bt-compliant power-sourcing applications. The board supports four 2-pair PoE ports and two 4-pair PoE ports using a single PD77708T4 controller. EV63E25A features a USB Type-C® interface for connection to a PC and configuration through Microchip's dedicated graphical user interface (GUI). It operates from a single 46VDC to 57VDC power source and provides status monitoring through six (one per port) LED indicators.

Designed for evaluation and development of PoE systems, the Microchip EV63E25A supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt standards, as well as legacy powered device detection. The RoHS-compliant board enables engineers to assess performance, configure operating modes, and accelerate PoE application development.
