TDK-Lambda DTM36-C8 25W-36W Medical External Power Supplies
TDK-Lambda DTM36-C8 25W-36W Medical External Power Supplies are offered in a rugged, vent-free, plastic enclosure measuring 100mm x 45mm x 22.5mm (L x W x H). The DTM36-C8 power supplies can operate in ambient temperatures of -30°C to +60°C, derating linearly to 60% load from +40°C to +60°C. The input-to-output isolation is 4kV (2xMOPP), and the leakage current is less than 80µA. The power supplies offer an average efficiency level of 85% to 88.3% (model dependent) and an off-load power consumption of less than <75mW. The series is highly suited for home healthcare, hospital, clinical, dental, and life sciences applications for monitoring, imaging, and diagnostic equipment.
Options include nine commonly used output voltages (5V, 9V, 12V, 13.5V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 36V, and 48V) ranging from 5VDC to 48VDC. The wide 80VAC to 264VAC input operating range is applied through a standard IEC 60320-C8 (2-pin) inlet socket. The output cable is terminated with a straight 5.5mm x 2.1mm x 12mm (OD x ID x L) connector, with other types of connectors and cable assemblies available on request.
Certified to the medical safety standards IEC 60601-1 and EN 60601-1-11 and compliant to EN 60601-1-2 Edition 4 for EMC, the products have a Class II input requiring no earth ground. The DTM36-C8 also meets the EU CoC Tier 2 and DoE Efficiency Level VI requirements. The TDK-Lambda DTM36-C8 is certified to IEC/ES/EN 60601-1, meets IEC 60335-1 (household appliances), and carries the CE mark for the low voltage, EMC, and RoHS directives. The series also complies with the EN 55011 (Class B) EMC standard.
