Silicon Labs USB to UART Bridges are high-performance controller interface ICs that offer a complete plug-and-play interface solution. This includes royalty-free driver suites and a comprehensive design ecosystem that enables customers to speed up time-to-market. Silicon Labs USB to UART Bridges feature crystal-less operation, in-system programming memory, and small body size packages to reduce cost, simplify design, and shorten development time.
The USB-to-UART bridges consist of user-programmable custom baud rates of up to 2Mbps and support all modem interface signals. These controller interface ICs operate at a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Typical applications include barcode readers, POS terminals, PC peripherals, USB converters, and USB to dual RS-232 converters.
