Samtec PCI/104-Express™ Standard Connectors
Samtec PCI/104-Express™ Standard Connectors follow the PCI/104-Express standard specifications and are available in Q2™(QMS/QFS) standard and OneBank-Q2™(QMS/QFS) variants. The PCI/104-Express specification establishes a standard for using a high-speed PCI Express bus in embedded applications. The PC/104™ Consortium choose PCI Express® with full PC market adoption, performance, scalability, and growing silicon availability worldwide. This Samtec connector series provides a high-performance physical interface while retaining software compatibility with existing PCI infrastructure.
These PCI/104-Express-Q2(QMS/QFS) standard connectors come in three banks (156 pins) orientation for module stacking. The Q2 QMS/QFS standard connectors are specifically designed with a 15.24mm stack height for top and bottom stacking. These connectors have triple the wipe of high-speed mezzanine interconnects, making them appropriate for rugged applications.
The PCI/104-Express OneBank-Q2 (QMS/QFS) standard connectors offer system designers great control over PCB real estate. This OneBank standard features single-bank Q2 connectors that mate with the traditional 3-bank connectors. These OneBank-Q2 QMS/QFS standard connectors are designed with 15.24mm and 22mm stack heights.
