Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVQ3364-R-00A Evaluation Board

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVQ3364-R-00A Evaluation Board is a demonstration and development platform for the MPQ3364-AEC1 Four-Channel WLED Driver. The MPQ3364-AEC1 is a configurable, fixed-frequency step-up converter designed to drive white LED arrays as backlighting for LCD panels. The MPQ3364-AEC1 uses peak current mode as its PWM control architecture to regulate the boost converter. Four current source channels are applied to the LED cathode to adjust LED brightness.

The Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) EVQ3364-R-00A Evaluation Board features a pre-installed MPQ3364-AEC1 WLED Driver in a compact QFN-24 package. The Evaluation Board is designed to connect to the EVKT-USBI2C-02 USB to I2C/PMBus Dongle, which in turn connects to a Microsoft Windows-based PC. An I2C Graphic User Interface (GUI) provides an easy-to-use interface for demonstrating the features of the MPQ3364-AEC1 WLED Driver.

Software

The MP3364/MPQ3364 I2C Evaluation GUI provides an easy-to-use interface for demonstrating the features of the MPQ3364-AEC1 WLED Driver. By using this software, the user can set the output voltage  (VOUT), output current (IOUT) limit, dimming mode, enable PG delay, and more.
