Microchip Technology LAN7430 PCIe to Gigabit Ethernet Controllers
Microchip Technology LAN7430 PCIe to Gigabit Ethernet Controllers provide high-performance and cost-effective PCIe to Ethernet connectivity solutions. These controllers bridge PCIe 3.1 (at 2.5GT/s) to 10/100/1000Gb Ethernet. The LAN7430 controllers have an integrated 10/100/100-Gigabit Ethernet Physical Layer (PHY), PCIe PHY, PCIe endpoint controller, and 10/100/1000Gb Ethernet MAC. These controllers also employ integrated OTP, JTAG TAP, and an EEPROM controller. The LAN7430 controllers support 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet with auto-negotiation, auto-polarity correction, and HP Auto-MDIX. These controllers feature LinkMD® TDR-based cable diagnostic that identifies faulty copper cabling and Signal Quality Indicator (SQI) support.The LAN7430 controllers are compliant with IEEE 802.3/802.3u/802.3ab standards. These controllers come with a wide range of drivers that include Windows®, Linux®, and Pseudo code for the development of Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS). The LAN7430 controllers also support Precision Time Protocol (PTP) with industry-standard 1588-2008 PTP. These controllers employ Quiet-WIRE® technology that reduces line emissions and enhances immunity for 100BASE-TX.
