B&K Precision 284x DC Resistance Meters
B&K Precision 284x DC Resistance Meters measure the contact resistance of relays, switches, and PCB traces. The 2840 series features two models: the 2840 and 2841. The meters use a 4.3" LCD color touchscreen to provide high-resolution measurements in the milliohm range and can connect to an external source via RS-232 (serial) and/or USB cable. This makes the devices easy to integrate into an automated test environment, including taking a screenshot of the data. The units come standard with 4-wire Kelvin test leads and allow users to choose a measurement speed that favors a fast readout, better accuracy, or somewhere in the middle.
B&K Precision 284x DC Resistance Meters feature a low power resistance (LPR) testing mode to protect DUT boards. The 2841 model adds extended range and accuracy as well as the ability to measure and compensate for temperature. Both versions are ideal for testing circuit boards and individual components, while the 2841 unit also evaluates coils, transformers, actuators, and conductive materials.
