Analog Devices Inc. DC2654A Daughter Board
Analog Devices Inc. DC2654A Daughter Board features the EZ-PD™ CCG3 USB Type-C Port Controller IC designed by Infineon Technologies. The DC2654A is a daughterboard meant to interface with some of ADI power product demonstration circuits to demonstrate their compatibility with the USB Type-C Power Delivery specification.
The ADI DC2654A Daughter Board offers a default program that negotiates a USB Power Delivery profile and chooses the highest voltage advertised by the power adapter plugged into the board. The program then turns on the power switches to power the main PCB through the banana plugs for a low-impedance connection. Required digital information is transferred through header J3 passed between boards.
