32-Bit SAM MCU Development Tools

Microchip Technology 32-Bit SAM Microcontroller Development Tools are designed to help accelerate prototyping and speed time to market. These low-cost, easy-to-use Development Boards and Evaluation Kits are ideal for demonstrating the features and capabilities of the SAM MCUs. Many of the Kits, such as the Xplained Pro Kits, can be customized with a wide range of expansion boards. 

Xplained Pro Evaluation Kits

Microchip Xplained Pro Evaluation Kit platform consists of a series of MCU boards and extension boards that allow to explore and develop Atmel MCUs. Integrated with Atmel Studio, the Kits have Atmel Software Framework (ASF) drivers, demo code, and support data streaming. The Xplained Pro Eval Kits support a wide range of Xplained Pro extension boards connected through standardized headers and connectors.

SAM D11 Xplained Pro Evaluation Kit

Atmel / Microchip SAM D11 Xplained Pro Evaluation Kit is a hardware platform to evaluate the ATSAMD11D14A microcontroller. The Microchip Studio integrated development platform supports the kit and provides easy access to the features of the ATSAMD11D14A. It explains how to integrate the device into a custom design. The Xplained Pro MCU series evaluation kits include an onboard Embedded Debugger, and no external tools are necessary to program or debug the ATSAMD11D14A. The Atmel / Microchip Xplained Pro extension kits offer additional peripherals to extend the board's features and ease the development of custom designs.

Xplained Evaluation Kits

These low-cost, easy-to-use evaluation kits are ideal for demonstrating the features and capabilities of MCUs and MPUs and can be customized with a wide range of expansion boards. Development is easy with a rich selection of example projects and code drivers provided in the Advanced Software Framework (ASF), as well as support in Atmel Studio and from third-party IDEs (Integrated Development Environments). 

Xplained Development Boards

Microchip Xplained Development Boards and Kits are low-cost hardware platforms to prototype, evaluate, and demonstrate Microchip AVR® and Arm®-based Microcontrollers (MCUs). All boards are supported in the Atmel Studio and can be extended using various connectors. All design files are available for open-source hardware and are reusable in customer projects.
