STMicroelectronics VD55G1 Global Shutter Sensor features a 2.16μm pixel and a small die size of only 2.7mm x 2.2mm, more compact than VGA equivalents. This advanced global shutter module is ideal for capturing distortion-free images when the scene is moving or when near-infrared (IR) illumination is used. The VD55G1 series uses compact global shutter technology and offers low power consumption, autonomous auto wake-up mode, and high frame rate in a tape-mounted packaging type.
