LSP05GI LED Lighting Surge Protection Module
Littelfuse LSP05GI LED Lighting Surge Protection Modules offer 10kA max discharge current and are ideal for use in outdoor and commercial LED lighting fixtures for transient overvoltage protection. These devices utilize Littelfuse’s thermally protected varistor technology along with a built-in thermal disconnect function to provide additional protection. This prevents catastrophic failure and fire hazard even under extreme circumstances of varistor end-of-life or sustained overvoltage conditions. The LSP05GI features a built-in LED indicator that notifies users when replacement is needed.
Lightning Surge Protection (LSP) Modules
Littelfuse Lightning Surge Surge Protection Modules (LSP) are the industry's first series connected, 20kA capable indicating surge arrestors for outdoor lighting applications. The LSP Modules are self-protected devices that can be used in outdoor and commercial LED lighting fixtures for transient overvoltage protection. LSP10 can provide up to 20kA protection module maximum lighting surge current and LSP05 provides up to 10kA. These Littelfuse devices are constructed with Littelfuse thermally protected varistor technology. The built-in thermal disconnect provides additional protection against catastrophic failure/fire hazard under varistor end-of-life or sustained overvoltage conditions.
